Monthly Function Friday 29th January 2016
Unfortunately, your regular function review author, Bill Irvine, missed the 29th January dance as he is recovering from an injury.
So this review may not be quite as eloquent!
The evening opened to the music of the Burns Brothers Scottish Dance Band, and although the numbers this evening were unusually low at 60 members and guests, the evening went well and was enjoyed by all.
The raffle tonight raised £145 and will help towards our annual charity donation.
Many thanks to all who donated and all who bought tickets.
Our next function will be a Ceilidh/Dance on 26th February 2016, featuring the ever popular Stuart McKeown on accordion, and featuring

Ryan Young, from Cardross, (Fiddle) a finalist again this year in the
‘Scottish Young Traditional Musician of the Year’

Together with well known local singer, Seonaidh Rostant and accompaniment pianist Sheila Galbraith.
