Report of the March 2016 Function
It was the Easter weekend, so hopefully that would explain the poor turn out for the March Ceilidh Dance. There was only 45 members and guests attending, disappointing because The Lomond Ceilidh Band were spectacular with Kyle Innes on drums, Gemma Donald on fiddle (and she can sing) and their leader Alan Small on accordion. Their music was truly wonderful and everyone commented on a great evening of music and dance.
The raffle raised £109.00, thanks to all who contributed. The money goes to charity and it will be allocated to local charities at our next function.
The band for the next dance on Friday 29th April 2016 is Ross McPherson SDB in the Osprey Suite, Commodore Hotel, 8pm to midnight, £7 for members, £8 for non-members. All are welcome to enjoy a great evening of live music.
